NEWS: According to Adam Schefter’s Confirmation, the Las Vegas Raiders Are Drawing Attention Across the Entire AFC After Sending an Attractive Offer to a Superstar with Over 11,000 Career Yards

Posted Jun 22, 2026

Las Vegas Raiders continue to be the center of attention in the NFL as rumors of a notable transaction suddenly heat up this week.

Just days after the free agency market began to slow down, Klint Kubiak’s team is once again being mentioned in an ambitious pursuit.

According to multiple league sources, the Raiders have not yet closed the door on plans to strengthen their offense ahead of the 2026 season.

The name attracting the most attention is Stefon Diggs, one of the best wide receivers of his generation.

The interest in Diggs comes at the exact moment the NFL officially completed its review of the off-field matter involving him.

According to the information released, the league did not find sufficient evidence to conclude that this player violated the personal conduct policy.

That development immediately changed how many teams evaluate the market for this veteran receiver.

Among the teams mentioned the most, the Raiders have emerged as a highly attractive destination.

The Las Vegas team already possesses one of the most formidable offensive systems in the AFC.

However, team leadership is still believed to want to add another high-quality option behind their current stars.

The information spread more strongly after expert Adam Schefter confirmed that the NFL had ended its review process regarding Diggs.

That move is seen as a positive signal for any team considering making an offer.

If the deal becomes reality, the Raiders will add one of the most experienced receivers in the league.

In his NFL career, Diggs has recorded 942 successful receptions along with 11,504 yards and 74 touchdowns.

He has been selected to the Pro Bowl four times and has been among the most productive receivers in the NFL for many consecutive seasons.

In the most recent season, he continued to prove his elite level with over one thousand receiving yards and played a key role in his team’s playoff journey.

Stefon is the type of player who can change the complexion of a game with just a few plays. His experience, ability to create separation, and competitive toughness always bring value to any team that acquires him.

For the Raiders, adding a player like Diggs is not only about upgrading the depth of the roster.

It is also a strong statement that the organization is still seizing every opportunity to solidify its position as a championship contender in the AFC.

As of now, no official agreement has been announced. However, just the fact that the Raiders are linked to a superstar of Diggs’ caliber is enough to make the rest of the AFC pay special attention to Las Vegas.

BREAKING: The 4-time Pro Bowler and the most prolific passer in Raiders history has signed a one-day contract to retire where his journey began.
HENDERSON, Nev. — In the end, the "Autumn Wind" blew him back home. The news broke Tuesday morning from the Intermountain Health Performance Center: Derek Carr, the man who spent nine seasons under center for the Raiders and rewrote their entire passing record book, has signed a one-day contract to officially retire as a member of the Las Vegas Raiders. It is a formal, emotional resolution to a journey that began in 2014 as a second-round pick out of Fresno State. For nearly a decade, Carr wasn't just the quarterback; he was the face of a franchise that moved cities, changed identities, and weathered countless storms. Whether it was the MVP-caliber run of 2016 that ended in heartbreak or the emotional 2021 season where he willed a fractured team into the playoffs, Carr remained the constant. “Las Vegas and Oakland are where I learned to be a professional, where I learned to be a champion in spirit, and where I found a permanent home,” Carr said in a statement released by the team. “I’ve played in other cities and worn other colors, but my heart never truly left the Black Hole or this Shield. To officially retire as a Raider is the only way this story could end.” The move officially heals the rift that formed when Carr was released in early 2023, eventually leading him to a two-year stint with the New Orleans Saints. While his time in the Superdome showed flashes of the grit that defined his career, seeing No. 4 in anything other than the Silver and Black felt like a glitch in the NFL's history. Statistically, Carr’s resume stands alone in Raiders history. He retires as the franchise leader in passing yards (35,222) and passing touchdowns (217), surpassing legends like Ken Stabler and Rich Gannon. But for the fans, his legacy isn't just about the numbers; it’s about the 28 fourth-quarter comebacks and the unwavering loyalty he showed to a fan base that is notoriously hard to please. He was the bridge between the Oakland past and the Las Vegas future. By signing this one-day deal, Carr ensures that his eventual induction into the Raiders' pantheon of greats is done with the proper ceremony. He isn't just a passer; he’s a Raider for life. The "Captain" has finally called his last play. And he’s doing it with the Shield on his chest.
